Complaint Policy

Commitment
Lannister Law Corp is committed to the efficient and fair resolution of disputes.

Objective
The objectives of the Consumer Complaints Policy are to:

  • Resolve consumer complaints.
  • Obtain feedback to identify consumer service areas that need improvement.
  • Create an additional opportunity to provide the opportunity for the consumer to resolve outstanding loan obligations.
  • Be in compliance with applicable federal and state laws including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practice Act and Consumer Protection Laws.

Policy
Any written complaint received by Lannister Law Corp. will be handled fairly, effectively, courteously and on a timely basis.
Lannister Law Corp’s. policy is to respond to all written consumer complaints in writing (unless otherwise agreed by the consumer) within 30 days.

Procedures
The written dispute must include adequate information for Lannister Law Corp. to fully understand the consumer’s issue. The dispute needs to include: consumer’s full name; consumer’s mailing address; a detailed description of the nature of the consumer’s complaint; applicable date of the incident; name(s) of all representative(s) who were involved with the incident; the consumer’s account number; and any other relevant information that will assist Lannister Law Corp. in understanding the dispute.

Definitions

Everyday business purposes — The actions necessary by financial companies to run their business and manage customer accounts, such as:

  • processing transactions, mailing, and auditing services
  • providing information to credit bureaus
  • responding to court orders and legal investigations

Affiliates — Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies

Nonaffiliates — Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies

*Lannister does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.

Joint Marketing — A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

*Lannister does not jointly market.
